At the prison weight door, turn around.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Look on the floor behind you for a broken lever, then check the mechanism’s Chain requirement. In the October 15 weight-door discussion, hockey15910 identifies the overlooked iron repair; Tbar666 adds that the two-weight door needs a Chain.[1]

Check the floor instead of attaching a hook

  1. Face the stuck door, then turn around and inspect the floor. The helper says the broken lever blends into it.
  2. Interact with the broken mechanism and follow its iron/rod prompt rather than trying to attach a normal hook or grappling hook to the picture.
  3. Check the Chain connection as well before assuming the iron repair is the whole job.

Two helpers describe different parts of the mechanism in one thread. The original poster had not returned with a success confirmation at sampling, so this is a reported repair checklist, not a guaranteed bug fix.[1]

Do you instead see the three-lever door?

Marvin Tang’s release walkthrough describes a later door needing three levers: rod repairs on the broken mechanisms and Chains on the isolated lever. The same walkthrough points to Nails and Chains in a chest reached via the left rope and small upper tunnel.[2]

The source does not prove that its three-lever door and the thread’s two-weight view are identical. Match the number of mechanisms and their prompts before following that extra lead.

Not inside the prison yet?

Use the prison-entry route for the Small Key and stairs. This page begins at a mechanism inside the prison, not the high hub door.
