The Corn Gem is behind the archer’s roots.

From the dining room with three platters, go to the second floor and take the first door left of the double golden doors. SrslyTibs found the Corn Gem behind roots in the room with two scorpions and a skeleton archer. Bring an Axe.[1]
Use the room, floor and enemies together
- Identify the dining room by its three-platter table. “A golden door” alone is too vague.
- Go to its second floor and check the first door to the left of the double golden doors.
- In the two-scorpion / skeleton-archer room, inspect behind the archer and cut the roots with the Axe.
SrslyTibs first asked for a release-game location, then edited in the found route on October 15. A second Corn Gem thread has Kodi’s gold-door/archer lead and a thank-you after the item was found. These are player reports, not our map measurements.[1][2]
Missing the tool?
Follow the Axe and high-crank route before treating the roots as a missing key. This route deliberately stops at the Gem; it is not a full solution for every golden door.
Corn is a different task
If you need food or used your supply in cooking, use Corn growing-area leads. The similarly named items caused an actual misunderstanding in the second discussion; a food respawn answer does not locate this Gem.[2]
