Golden chest: separate access from the return task.

Use Moon and Sun Stone Coins for the water statue; the golden chest is separately named in a six-gold-treasure return report. An empty chest after lowering the water is not enough, by itself, to identify a bug.[1][2]
First identify the water-statue interaction
NPC Tips’ build 25955406 code analysis says one Water Statue needs both a Moon Stone Coin and a Sun Stone Coin. Follow its Add or Grab prompt, leave the pair in place while using the lowered water, and retrieve it when ready to leave. Taking either back raises that statue’s water again; splitting a pair between two statues does not meet either requirement.[1]
Tbar666 places the return chest on the dining-table level, with the stone coins in the two food rooms. Use that as a community landmark, not a measured map route.[2]
What belongs in the golden chest?
Tbar666’s October 17 secret-ending checklist says to put all six gold treasures back in it. Stone coins operate water statues; gold treasures are the return task. Similar color or names do not make them interchangeable. Cross-reading that return instruction with DocNovak’s named treasure list gives the checklist below. It is a compiled player-source checklist, not a tested insertion order.[2]

Empty after draining the water?
NPC Tips reports an October 13 official-Discord reply from developer saulotti treating that specific empty-chest report as intentional. We read NPC Tips’ account, not the original Discord conversation. It does not establish the state of every gold-colored chest or every platform save.[1]
